PowerLogic T300 - Issues with HU250 LAN port and with PS50 LEDs (location: Gulf)

Hello everyone,

I am currently working at a company in the Gulf region, and we are using Schneider T300 devices as we are partners with Schneider. Recently, I have been encountering some persistent problems, and I hope to get some insights from the community.

Main Issues:

  1. HU250 LAN Ethernet Port Issues:

    • The LAN Ethernet port on the HU250, which is used to connect a PC, is not working. This issue occurs intermittently, sometimes with the communication LED turning red and other times with no error indication at all.
    • This has been the most frequent problem. I have already replaced over 20 HU250 units due to this issue.
  2. Error LEDs for 48/24 VDC or 12 VDC:

    • There are problems with the PS50 units where the error LEDs for 48/24 VDC or 12 VDC light up. I am unsure if this issue is due to the hot weather and dust conditions here in the Gulf region.
    • Is the PS50 particularly sensitive to these environmental conditions, making it difficult to operate reliably in the Gulf?

I am currently out of spare parts, and these issues are significantly affecting our operations. Any advice or assistance on how to address these problems would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Best regards,

Hello,

1. What firmware version do you have on HU250 module?

2. PS50 is rated for harsh environment (up to +70 °C) so you shouldn't have an issue linked to high temperature. Do you have a picture showing the T300 cabinet design?

3. Please report these two issues (1 issue per mail, please) to our global tech support (global-na-tech-support@schneider-electric.com)

Re: the HU250 LAN - the communication error LED goes red when there is a communication fault with one of the modules (SC150, LV150 or PS50).

It is helpful to provide customer support with a copy of the system and event logs to allow diagnosis of which modules and/or LAN links are affected .

@moe2354  Please share the system log and event log, with global tech support (global-na-tech-support@schneider-electric.com) we can even connect with your system to understand in the remote session.
