Team,
I was able to communicate to two Easergy P5 through USB but after Windows update I could not connect to these relays Via USB port anymore.
Connection to relay with Ethernet port is OK
Relay models:
P5F30-CECD-GBBEH-AAAK version 300.103
P5M30-AACB-HABAA-AAAA version 300.103
I tried all the older version and Latest version of Easergy Pro (V 3.0.1 , 3.0.0 …..)
USB connected port appear in “ Device manager” as “ USB Composite Device” and not seen by easrgy Pro.
Nothing shows up under ports or other devices. We updated the driver and didn't make a difference.
Device manager view :
Easergy Pro start page:
No P5 found
Ethernet connected relay P5F30:
Windows 10 info:

Hello
When the P5 is connected, the USB cable should appear as a "USB Remote NDIS Device" in the list of "Network Adapteurs". Could you confirm that's ok
Best Regards

Hi
To discriminate between a communication issue and a firewall issue, you can try to connect to the IP address 90.0.0.1 (the IP@ via the USB cable)
In any scenario my advice is to get in touch with L3 support.

Hello
Connection with IP address 90.0.0.1 via USB is OK.
Front panel option still not available
Thanks

Hi,
What worked for me:
Uninstall WinPcap.
Uninstall the network adapters driver NDIS
Restart PC
Install WinPcap
Make manual installation of USB driver from device manager and choose USB device(not network adapter)
Connect on the relay trough USB
Keep in mind that in case of 90.0.01 connection trough USB the Virtual Injection is not working.
THX,
Alin

Thanks for comment
Unfortunately, did not work for me,
By the way, if connect to relays with IP 90.0.0.1 (USB) the virtual injection will work
if Connect to Relay Ethernet port via relay IP address ( USB is not connected) then , virtual injection wont work

- Connection with Ethernet @90.0.0.1 or via front panel is the same connection
- Virtual injection works on @90.0.0.1 because it's the front panel connection. The virtual injection is blocked/disabled on the physical Ethernet interface (RJ45 or fibres)
The problem concerns "only" the detection of the P5, it's not possible to discover it:
- It could be the firewall or any other security service which blocks the discovery.
- An other doubt is about the #2 at the end of the name of the driver in crontrol manager. This #2 is probably because there are 2 instances of the driver, it could generate some issue. You can try to remove the RNDIS driver (no disabled but uninstall it) then re-install it
I would recommend to get in touch with L3 support.
Best Regards
