MiCOM C264 - Specification of Secondary Systems and Devices, Control System RTU

Hello everyone,

I need help with tendering documentation listed below.

Functionality:

- Outputs:

  Control:

              - it shall be possible to adjust in parameter the length of pulse control separately for each relay contact (in the range of 500 - 20000ms, in at least 4 steps),

              - it shall be possible to adjust in parameter the length of permanent control separately for ech relay contact (in the range of 1-20 minutes, in steps of one minute),

              - it shall be possible to withdraw the permanent control on change of indication or by dispatcher action.

Parameterising:

              - The RTU shall provide for integrating the power measurements in time to counter format, with a periodicity adjustable in parameter (1, 5, 15 minutes).

Can someone tell me if MiCOM C264 meets above listed requirements?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Milica,

for all the required controls, the solution go with the configuration of an Isagraf automation in the C264.

From the received control coming from the HMI operator, the automation adapts the behaviour of the C264 outputs.

For example, on the substation HMI, several options of pulse or latched durations are given to the operator who select one of them. The selected duration is sent to the C264 as a setpoint to consider in the automation. Then the automation pilots the output (pulse or latched) to obtain the selected duration.

The amount of engineering work to consider depends direclty on the number of outputs to take into account.

The most reasonable solution is to avoid one independent set of durations for each output and to offer one or few sets of durations, each one applicable to several outputs. When the ouput needs to be activated, is duration follows the selected one for the set of duration to which it is assigned.

The output duration can be shorten by providing the operator a button to interrupt the output control on the substation HMI. The controls goes to the automation which stops then the output control.

The same type of automation principle applies to power measurement.

The C264,must be equipped with a TMU board to compute power and energy.

The duration setpoint is selected by the operator, from the substation HMI and the continous power integration (= energy value) is reset according to this duration.

You have to consider the relevant engineeing worload in you quotation (specification, configuration, tests, FAT)

Hi,

Please clarify the application: is it for a HV/MV substation, or a MV/MV switching substation or a secondary MV/LV substation?

If that is a primary substation then go for Saitel DP; if that is for a secondary substation, the most suitable offer is Easergy T300.

Regards.
