Change of IEC61850 Edition 2 to Edition 1 of Schneider MiCOM P44x IED

Dear Sir/Madam !

I have one Schneider Micom P442 IED that equipped with IEC61850 Ed.2. This edition is not compaitable with my gateway. Can I change the IEC61850 Ed.2 to Edition 1 at site?

Hello @S_Bhaskar 

Yes, you can switch from Edition 2 to Edition 1.

The switching can be done at the relay HMI. You will get the option to select the edition in "System Data" menu. 

You have to create 61850 MCL file and write to the relay.
