Hi Community!
Does anyone here already experience migrating ION Enterprise (with SQL Server 2000) to the latest version of PME?
Is there a way that we can backup all data from the old system to transfer it to the new system?
Will there be no data loss upon migration?
Thank you and best regards,
Maricor

Hello @Maricor ,
ION Enterprise has not been supported for a long time. This is not to say what you want is impossible. You would like need an interim system that can support has a more recent version of PME. You would need to perform a side by side upgrade to interim system then use CM Tool to do a side by side upgrade to PME 2024. I do not have step by step instructions for you.
Another possibility might be to setup a new system then use ETL to transfer data from existing ION Enterprise system to newer PME system.
In both options I cannot promise that there will be no data gaps.
Regards,
Charles
