I am considering an option to backfeed from a feeder circuit breaker through a tie breaker for a temporary feed for a section of our distribution. There are two ION 7650 meters that the CTs will have "reversed polarity" for the current flow. Is there anything I should be concerned about regarding the ION meter if this option is used?

No that meter will do net metering and we have active power delivered and received and even delivered - received and other power functions
The active power total Kwh may start reducing since you are now changing power flow but you can take a reading now of the total Kwh and later on after its restored we can actually help you reset the register back to that reading if needed
Phaser diagrams will not look right but you should see correct Amps and Kws will read negative
