VIP 400 Minimum Tripping Time Parameter

I provide coordinated settings for VIP 400 relays. Occasionally I would like to use the Instantaneous option for the I>>> stage. The availability of the Instantaneous option seems to be factory set.

How can I know, in advance, if the Instantaneous option (MIN TRIP TIME : OFF) will be available to the engineer entering the settings into the relay? For each relay I am aware of the SE circuit breaker model the relay is connected to but do not have access to the relay.

When and how can I request the 'MIN TRIP TIME' is set to 'off' to enable the Instantaneous options?

Any help that enables me to answer these two questions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bweener,

To change the setting of 'MIN TRIP TIME', first you need to activate "CB CUSTOM" display and then can review 'MIN TRIP TIME' setting. Press the "Conform enter" Key and hold on for more than 7s, this setting is allowed to change. You can check the attachment.
