I'm trying to figure out what the single pole trip current should be, without actually testing the breaker. My brain wants to make the assumption 60amps total for all 3 legs (RMS sum) which would make each pole 20amps (1-1.5x based on trip curve), but I can't find this written down or fully described anywhere.
Anyone know the answer, or a link to a video where single pole tripping was tested?

hello @zerohourrct
On breaker QO360VH, Line Rated Current is 60A and this value is for each phase. it's a 3 x 60A
Best regards

Hi @zerohourrct ,
If your question relates to short & long time protection, UL489 CBs are tested in single pole at a multiple of the rated current (60A here).
For example, 200% of 60A.
