Schneider MCCB suitable for Tunnel environment

Providing electric power for a tunnel contractor for their tunnel boring activities is not a common project to have. I'm humbly asking your expertise to help me what MCCB suits to a tunnel borer that requires the following requirements?:

a. 1,140 Volts, 3phase, Supply Voltage

b. 60 Hz Supply but equipment is rated 50 Hz

c. Minimum 400 AT with adequate frame size

d. With a Trip Curve suitable for tunnel boring machine

e. Rugged to withstand underground conditions (Yes this will be enclosed to an appropriately NEMA-rated enclosure I just want the Circuit Breaker to be rugged type if it is possible)

Optional: 100% rated

If ever MCCB is underrated for this type of application, feel free to suggest a better overload and short circuit protection for this machine.

Thank you so much!

Hi @Gregoire_Brun !

How are you? Sorry for this late reply. The development of the project was temporarily paused a few weeks ago. Now, it was back to the table again.

Nominal voltage current is 1000V 50/60 Hz.

I think the reliability of the Circuit Breaker will be put in question if its voltage rating is 1000V while the nominal voltage where it will be installed is 1,140V.

Do we have an alternative model for this application? What is the next higher voltage rating of your Vacuum/Air Circuit Breakers?

Thank you!
