Hi,
I see in the industry that ULP RJ45 cable TRV00803 is been used as a modbus cable.
The modbus cable VW3A8306D30 are supposed to be used for example from PAS800 to IFM modules.
What is the main difference between these cables? And what could be the consecuenses using ULP -RJ45 or standard shielded Network RJ45 cable in a modbus network?

Hi @geir_eas_no_bfo ,
Wish you are very well.
I am not quite sure these cables are interchangeable as the pin-out is different:
To guarantee that the devices will work properly and the warranty is valid, we recommend to use the references that are on the product documentation as they are tested on the factory lab with these accessories.
If you are skilled on the subject, you can also build these cables with the indication of the manual from link below and the pin-out I shared above:
Hope this is helpful for you.
Best Regards,
Neide
