Hello,
is there a way to make closed loop calculations in ecodial? I have a specifier that wants to make three busbar trunking lines between switchboards. Any way around it? Will it be available in future?
Thank you,
Best regards
K

Hello
Thanks for your query about ‘EcoStruxure Power Design – Ecodial’
Comments:
The looped networks are not allowed in the Ecodial application. So, if we create a network with the presence of a loop will create an ‘error message.’
Workaround:
As per the given example, there are ‘3 busbar trunking lines’ are connected between 2 switchboards. There is only one line is in a closed condition, and the remaining two are in open condition.
So, the combination of ‘other two operating scenarios’ can be created with ‘one line is closed’ and ‘other two lines are open.’
Operating Scenarios:
The 3 operating scenarios defined, for any ‘one of the lines is closed’ should make this project accepted and calculated by the application.
Thanks & Regards,
Team – Ecodial Expert Support.
