A pair of cable connected outdoor pillars ready for despatch to a project that we are currently working on in the UK. The site is one of the first in the UK to combine both Tesla and standard HPC chargers on the same site.
We are also supplying a transformer connected pillar which is due out in the near future.

Hi,
Yes, the enclosures are a special customer ordered colour. Special order with our paint supplier $$ 😮.
HPC chargers are 'High Power Chargers' typically 125kW and over.
In the UK we are seeing massive growth in the EV charging and battery storage market. This particular customer is the first customer in the UK to bring the idea of the Electric Forecourt (the site looks like a petrol/service station, under one roof with rest facilities), both Tesla and standard chargers from one supplier. This is a big idea, no more apps/cards to log in, straight credit card payment.
The challenges at the moment are grid supply, permissions for connections and trying to work with the supplier to make a cost effective offer. In addition with battery storage system fault levels and contribution of embedded generation is adding to the formula. The result is that we are finding that we are having a far bigger input into the system design than we used to.
Best regards,
Peter Hall.

Hello @Peter_Hall
Thanks a lot for sharing your activity... 😉
And yes, for sure you're going green !!! Even the enclosures are !! 😁 😉
For my understanding, what does "HPC" stands for?
Is the EV market growing fast in UK?
What are the main challenges you are facing ?
Can you please tell us more on this?
@victorarce, you see that UK is going EV.........
Thanks.

Hi Gregoire,
Thanks for your message.
Yes it is the AC side, the DC we have not started to look at yet. Still time though..
We are also starting to look at 800VAC systems.
