Is there any relationship between the "EcoStruxure Power Design-Ecodial" and the Online "Electrical Calculation Tools?" I see sometimes the results are similar but not the case all the time. What is the difference in these tools?

Hello,
Following are the points to consider as a similarities and relationship between these TWO applications.
EcoStruxure Power Design - Ecodial | Electrical Calculation Tools |
Desktop (Offline) Application | Online Application. |
The application for LV electrical network design and sizing the equipment's |
This is set of some calculation tools (like cable calculation, voltage drop calculation...) |
|
|
The INTERNATIONAL version of this application is sharing it's data base with the Electrical Calculation Tools. | The INTERNATIONAL version of this application is considering the data base from the Ecodial _INTERNATIONAL version. |
The products shown/listed by the INT version will be available in Electrical Calculation Tools _INTERNATIONAL version as well. | This a benefit for this online application. |
Ecodial engine (as a service) has helped to build some online calculation tools. |
The following modules related to the CABLE calculation; "Calculate Cable Cross Sectional Area Calculate Cable voltage Drop" of the 'Electrical Calculation Tools" are derived from the Ecodial Application.
At the INT version, these modules are working same as Ecodial INT version and respecting the 'installation standard' IEC 60364-5-52 |
Ecodial engine (as a service) has helped to build some online calculation tools. |
The following modules related to the CIRCUIT BREAKER performance;
"Display t(i) curves of the 'Electrical Calculation Tools" are derived from the Ecodial Application. |
