Hello Mercedes,
If you are talking about the asymmetrical fault current wave form during in a circuit breaker due to the DC Component.
You are right, the fault current in a circuit breaker could be asymmetrical depending of the power factor of the circuit and when in the cycle (50hz sinusoid) the fault ignition take place.
