Hello everyone
I am using EcoStruxure Power Design Ecodial 5.0.0 INT. When I specify LV cable installation method as "in ground" (installation method D), I can specify ground temperature and soil thermal resistivity but the software does not allow to specify cable burial depth either when the cable is directly laid in ground or when the cable is laid in conduits in the ground.

Hello Karim,
Thanks for reaching the EcoStruxure Power Design Forum.
The international version of the Ecodial application is sizing the ‘cable/conductors’ with respect to the IEC 60364-5-52 standard.
As per the standard ‘correction factors’ for the ‘soil temperature and resistivity’ are considered for sizing the conductors.
Whereas the ‘depth of buried conductor’ is not more than 0.7 or 0.8 meters. So, there is no specific option to select this information at the software application.

Team – Ecodial Expert Support.
