Hi,
1 & 2. Re-adressing is not needed when %SW138 - %SW141 are set with an initial value of 1. These Status words are available for M580 and give the STATE-RAM addresses an offset (of 1), making all STATERAM addresses identical as in your Quantum application. No need to change your SCADA application for this.
Unity M580 Application Converter (UMAC) is the tool for conversion of Quantum/Premium to M580 and will set these values automatically.
Also UMAC will add some code to make 32-bit variables (float, DINT), compatible with M580, without impacting your SCAD application.
3. Check connections on the CPU. 140CPU43412 has 2 Modbus ports and MB+, they do not show on this bitmap, but devices might be connected. For Modbus connection add a BMXNOM0200 (Check cables) and for MB+ add a MB+ Proxy module.
Conversion cabling for the IO modules is available, making the IO conversion more easy.

Hello
You need to have minimum the Level 4 M580 - BMEP584040 to support Quantum migration and integrate M580 rack with existing Quantum IO.
Also, Schneider has an internal tool to migrate existing Quantum program to M580 program without having to mess PLC addressing offsets and keeping SCADA addressing intact. Please discuss with your local SE sales person
