M430 to M580 Code Not Working

I am working on a project where I am moving from utilizing an M430 to an M580 and after setting up all of the modules in the same place and ensuring the code is the same between them I exported the variables as well as the logic files and then I import those exact files back into my new program using the M580 in place of the M430. When I try to build it I receive an error for all 170+ variables that I declared, and even more (over 700 errors) when my structured text is not commented out. Any ideas on what I should do?

When you built your M580 config, did you set the I/O cards for Topological or IODDT addressing?  M340 is Topological, M580 is IODDT by default.  The two methods of address assignment are completely different.

I just noticed that we got notified of this post which is from 2023.  Why did it get triggered to my emails now?  It says it was moved.  Category change?  Probably long since resolved now anyway.

Oh wow, I hadn't even noticed. I was notified about a ton of posts from 2023.
