Hi All,
We have 2 archestra machines dedicated for Simulation and Production. one of machine which has installed the OFS not able to connect with the Modicon M580. the error log is mentioned that if the status is MISSING. anyone can help which configuration is missing in the Production environment ? there is no issue with simulation environment.
FYI, i have uploaded the OFS configuration from simulation to the production.

Can you specify the exact OFS error? What is missing? Is it missing the PLC in the network, or is it missing a valid OFS configuration?
Also, what do you mean by having "uploaded the OFS configuration..."? Did you only copy the configuration files from one machine to the other? I don't think that will do the trick.
Please run the OFS Configuration Tool and verify all settings of the PLC entries. Then press the GREEN save button to activate the configuration.
Last thing: please be aware of some issues in the newest releases of OFS. v3.63 SP2 has a serious memory leak (I witnessed 10MB RAM increase per hour in some cases), and v3.63 SP3 may want to try to connect to the internet in some cases.

If your error looks something like this:
06/06 09:37:45 235ms : NETMAN : MBT:192.168.20.20 Status MISSING (Error = afe20006h) (uid: 20436)
it means it can't see the PLC. Check the IP address is correct using OFS Configuration Tool on the server that is not working, and verify it is correct and pingable.

Needing to restart OFS periodically sounds like the memory leak issue I mentioned earlier. With this issue OFS will consume more and more RAM until the 4GB limit is reached. Then it will stop and hang or crash.
Try and test v3.63 SP3 (build 4905). If this does not work for your application, then go back to an earlier version if possible. Be aware that earlier versions do not support all current Windows versions (like Windows 11).
