I have configured my Ethernet Network connectio (called Ethernet_1) and have linked it to Ethernet Channel 3 on the M340 PLC. I've set it to use ETH TCP IP.
When I Set the Address in Control Expert I select MODBUS TCP and then go to communication parameters / driver settings. From there I can select Modbus test, enter the IP address of the PLC and it connects. When I click start I get lots of activity on my network switch.
The problem is when I try to go online from Control Expert using the MODBUS TCP:SYS connection. I get the following:
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

the :SYS setting is used for USB, when using TCPIP you need to set the Address to the actual address
