How to local manual override of Digital/Analog output card without CPU

Dear Friend 

I got some question from my customer about in emergency case, The CPU card fail of dead.

Can manual send command directly to DO/AO card via CRA with unity pro or relate software?

It's possible or not?

What is the issue with the CPU?

Any LED's active?

Not easy (almost impossible) to force IO modules in a remote rack without a CPU. The CRA receives the rack configuration from the CPU and then processes the EIP IO communication. And then there are issues around message repeat rate to avoid drop out on slow/ erratic comms.

Most likely be quicker to get a replacement CPU if that is available.

We have had customers in this situation and they have used a CPU from a low priority process that they can shut down.
