Dear Team,
I am new to Schneider products. I have experience in Siemens PLC System.
We have one M580 HSBY System where BMEAHI0812 AI HART Input Modules is configured on IO Drop.
We have configured the Diagnostic Alarm for all the Channels. Some of the Channels are spare and as nothing is connected it shows an error. We don't want to disable the Diagnostic Alarm as in future we may use the same. Can we connect a resistor to the spare channel so that Alarm can be avoided (as per my Siemens experience we use to connect 1.5-3.3K Resistor). If we can then what should be the resistance value.
I would really grateful if you could support us to resolve this issue.
Thanking you in advance for your kind support.

Yes, you could use a resistor to provide a small input current. If so, it will depend on what your supply voltage is as to what the resistor value should be.
You should be targeting about 6mA (>4mA) into a 250ohm load (the input impedance of the analog input card).
Likely your same '1.5-3.3K Resistor' would work (for all 4mA analog inputs)

Hi,
Once you open the Control Expert configuration page of BMEAHI0812, you can tick or untick the usage of each channel. The alarm will be triggered only when the channel is "used".
Should you have any more technical queries, please feel free to contact our regional technical support. They'll be glad to answer your questions. Thanks!

Hi Bevan Weis,
Thank you so much for the support.
I'll check the same.
