As the title suggests I would like to suggest allowing the Variable table be able to be sorted by 'Alias Of'. Currently you are able to sort the variable table by Name, Type, Comment, Address, HMI variable. Not being able to sort by 'Alias Of' is a major shortcoming when you have used Aliasing to connect variables to the IO modules (as is the recommended practice). If you were able to sort by 'Alias Of' then the variable table would display all the points connected to an IO module in order of the IO channel.
From the screenshot you can see channel 0 and its error from an analog input module, but you cannot change the sort order and see what is on the next channel and so on. The only way I have found to find all the points on an io module is to create an animation table for that card with all the individual channels from the DDT and add a custom column for 'Alias' and then you will get a list of variables attached to a module - this is at best a kludge
