Control Expert - Include EDS files in project file

When you add custom EDS files to your project you have to add them to Control Expert on any workstation that you will work on with the project. The idea is to include custom EDS files that are use in the project into project file (STU) so that they can be automatically added when project is open on workstation without those EDS files added. There may be a pop-up during opening the project asking if user wants to add those EDS files. Also there may be a setting in project settings allowing user to select if he/she want to add EDS files to project file.

Management of the DTM installation is a challenge.  Some DTMs are provided from manufacturers in an installable library of DTMs from suppliers which are GIGA bits of information, too much to add to a project file.  

EDS files being a text - based document would be ideal to compress this and add to a ".STU" file library.  Hopefully a process could be automated to add EDS files to the EDS library within the ".STU" file when the EDS file is first converted to a DTM.  

It could then be an option within the DTM browser to display the EDS library, select EDS files and add EDS files are DTMs as necessary.

The only component that is helpful with DTMs is the graphic component which is not included in the EDS which is probably the reason why DTM installation files can be large.
