Change BMENOC type without losing DTM configuration

Lately I have received several questions from customers who want to change the type of a configured BMENOC card without losing the DTM configuration. Up till now this is not possible (?).Only possibility's are:

- Upgrade the subtype of NOC card with the M580 Application Update tool (i.e. BMENOC3x1.2 to BMENOC3x1.4)

- Copy the BMENOC configuration from one application to another one (see https://www.se.com/us/en/faqs/FA358263/)

Possible solutions:

- Extend the  M580 Application Update with possibility to change NOC type (ie NOC301 => 311 or 321 =>301)

- Possibility to Copy a DTM (complete) from one NOC card to another NOC card

This was raised in the Modicon PAC forum, and as I commented there I have spent many hours performing this task manually with the risk that any manual has.

@RoozeeR and @GeoffChisholm this is an important step that we need for a few reasons:

1. Migration of systems from Quantum to M580 or Premium to M580
2. swapping hardware from one Ethernet NOC to another type.  i.e. I have a BMENOC0301 and I only have a BMENOC0311.
3. Future migration moving from a standard BMENOC0301 to a new Advanced NOC BMENOC0xxxx.

any news of this functionnality?
i am managing more than 200 mosbus server as M580 is client in modbus TCPIP with NOC cards and i am doiing all by hand !.

This is the first time in 30 year that schneider did not implement way to copy-past communication profile (it was existing in modsoft-concept-unity).

It make rise question if this is still the good brand of PLC for my need...
