Good day to all,
We recently got wind of the above problem that the PowerLogic PM5560 / 5561 meters refuses to store the subnet mask and gateway IP despite deliberate attempts to set them in the ethernet port configuration page via the meter's front display. We conducted a simple test trying to set the meter to the following configuration,
IP Address : 169.254.000.110
Subnet Mask : 255.255.000.000
Gateway IP : 169.254.000.001
After saving, and returning to the ethernet configuration page, we observed the following,
IP Address : 169.254.000.110
Subnet Mask : 000.000.000.000
Gateway IP :000.000.000.000
Has anyone encountered the same error elsewhere? Appreciate everyone's time to check on this as it may become a widespread customer satisfaction issue.

Hello Kuan Khoon Tan,
How about the IP address? It does not reset as well?
You might want to wait a couple of seconds (7-8sec) after you modify the Ethernet configuration and before returning to the page where you actually save the changes. and you save it. After 7-8 seconds, recheck the Ethernet settings.
Let me know if it works for you.

Hello Kuan,
Please try after adding new settings to power off the meter and then power on.
