【PowerLogic™ Current Transformers】Regarding the shape of the CT secondary side.

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this in the community, do you know the shape of the secondary terminal of the CT?

I was asked the following two questions by a customer, but I can't find any information on Schneider's website.

aa) I would like to know the screw shape of the secondary terminal of the “METSECT5CC”. Customer needs information on how to connect wiring. If possible, I'd like to know the URL of the document.

bb) I would like to know the shape of the secondary terminal of the "METSECT5MA". If it is screw-fastened, I would like to know the screw diameter.

Best regards,

Miyai

Hi @Miyai,

The secondary connections are made using lug terminals, tunnel terminals, or screws.

The METSECT5CC uses screws, as you can see from the 3D model on se.com.

The METSECT5MA connections are shown below:

The most common practice is to use 22–18 AWG twisted-pair wire, and you can select the corresponding wire terminal.

Regards,

JD

Hello  @Jesus_Diaz ,

aa)  “METSECT5CC”.

Do you know what size hole the terminal should be? Generally, the information on the compatible terminal shape should be listed in the specifications, but I can't find any information.

bb) "METSECT5MA"

Does this fit a pin terminal?

Best regards,

Miyai

Hi @rohith-s,

Could you please check @Miyai questions?

Thanks.
