Hello @SESA528,

The Power On alarm is a short term alarm (1 day) on the meter to meet specific requirements. It would not be the way to determine when grid off.

Assuming you are not powering the meter from UPS or other backup system, the meter's event log will record a power down event. There is no way to see this event from the front panel. You will need software like PME or ION Setup.

If the meter is powered from UPS or other backup system, you will see either a Voltage sag/swell alarm or voltage interruption alarm when the monitored system no longer has voltage.

Regards,

Charles

Hello @SESA528 ,

A few questions to start:

1) What version of firmware?

2) What version of template, custom or default?

I am also trying to understand the question, are you asking where there is no power down alarm and only power up?

The alarm View is not exact same as the Event log view you can see in PME or ION Setup you will not see drop out events. If looking at historical alarms, and you select the "i" button you would get more information and see a field called Duration.

Likely the alarm is coming from a setpoint module, what this module is linked to can very between template version. In V3.1.0, this is linked to a oneshot timer module that will stay on for 86400 seconds (1 day) after the meter is powered up.

If you look at the meter's event log with PME or ION Setup software you will see the "expired" event.

Regards,

Charles

Hi @Charles_Murison ,

Thanks for your support. I will provide firmware and template later.

My question it mean when Grid on => I see in history ION9000 capture " Power Up" and the time

But when Grid off => I don't see history ION9000 capture "Power Off" and the time.

So, how do i active inform when Grid off that ION9000 will capture "Power off"

Thanks very much.

Hi @Charles_Murison ,

Thanks for your information. I'm clearly.

1. the meter's event log will record a power down event. => I will check in PME & ION Setup.

2. If the mete is powered from UPS or other backup system, you will see either a Voltage sag/swell alarm or voltage interruption alarm when the monitored system no longer has voltage. => Ok Charles. hihi. Thanks very much. I will recommend UPS for maintain ION9000 always on and will capture voltage when EVN off.
