Hi All,
I would like to check if anyone have came across PM8240 auto reboot approx ever 2 minutes when network cable is plug into the meter with the other end to the network switch.
Currently I have install 8 numbers of PM8240, but only one of then is giving me this problem.
Few test I have conducted :

2. Connected the existing network cable to my laptop and ping other device... >> No Issue
Please advise.

Hi Andrew,
I have seen this before, to start you need to be at a minimum firmware of 0001.002.14, do not upgrade to 0001.003.000 it has modbus issues. I believe a newer release will be available soon.
Regards,
Robert

Hi Andrew
Hi Andrew, I would encourage you to contact tech support for assistance with this issue. They can walk you through removing of a diagnostic file on your device which can be analyzed to tell us exactly what is causing your resets. From there we can make suggestions on what course of action to take.
If you are using Modbus communications over your Ethernet connection then it is recommended you do NOT use version 1.000.057. As Robert indicated running 1.002.014 should be your target until the new release is available (I will check on timeline when the product prime is in the office).
But again if you want to know for sure what is causing your issues contacting tech support is the best option.

Could be the Modbus issue?

Thank you Andrew.
I think for my case, there is an issue with the hardware itself. The meter's screen is blank with the front LED flashing red and green. Customer cannot connect or ping the meter.
