Hi, the new IEEE STD 519-2014 has specified harmonic measurement compliance. I understood that PM8000 series is complied with IEC 61000-4-30.
Is the PM8000 able to comply to IEC61000-4-7 or any plans to make it to comply to that standard?
The only meter that can comply both IEC61000-4-30 and IEC61000-4-7 is ION7650 series, am I right?

With respect to the IEC 61000-4-7, please ref. to the attached technical note "4-30 compliance and ION meters" -> page 7.
With respect to the IEEE 519 compliance, please see Tom Stevenson 's reply here: https://community.se.com/message/69309#69309
According to the existing documentation, the meter is compliant with IEEE 519.

Victor

Hello,
Please note that the PM8000 complies with IEC 61000-4-30 Class S requirements which are different compared with the requirements foe a Class A meter.
Is there some requirement that you think the PM8000 is not meeting - with respect to IEC 61000-4-30 Class S requirements (which also incorporates IEC 61000-4-7 requirements - see for eg. "Voltage harmonics" -> "Measurement method" -> Class S)?
I hope it helps,
Regards,
Victor

VICTOR MARINCUS, I'm not sure what is the different between Class S and Class A meter as I don't have IEC 61000-4-30 standard.
Here's the requirement from IEEE STD 519-2014 on the instrument to measure the harmonics (see the images below).
My questions:
1) Can PM8000 perform these requirements (4.1 - 4.3)?
2) Are you saying that that PM8000 complies to IEC 61000-4-7? If yes, can we include that in the standard compliance list?
