PM5560 SNMP Error

Dear All,

Would like to ask if someone also experience this error (screenshot below) when configuring SNMP for PM5560. Current firmware version is 4.1.8. Total of 10 units PM5560 and only 2 units are having this problem. All have same FW version and configuration. What is the possible solution for this?

Thank you.

Hi @Jayk

You're welcome.

It's weird as I was able to reproduce the same error message in one of our meters with FW 4.2.1(which would be the same as FW 4.1.8) when the Community Name strings structure does not meet the conditions.

Mehran_Mehrnia_0-1715842049432.png

E.g. When I type in Public&24 in 'Community Name' field which has at least 8 characters and includes one upper and lower case with one of special characters(@#$%&), meter accepts it without any error.

If two meters still have such unexpected behavior, I would recommend contacting local support for further investigations.

Best Regards,

Hi @Jayk

As the error message indicates, likely the 'Community Name' strings for those 2 meters have not been followed by the recommended characters requested in PM5500 user guide:

Thank you.

Hi @Mehran_Mehrnia ,

Thank you for your response. Naming guidelines were followed. Out of the 10 units, only 2 are having this error.

Regards,

Jay
