PM5560 Polarity

Hi,

With the PM800 you could change current polarity settings via modbus commands.

Can the PM5560 do the same?

We have a whole bunch of them installed in datacenters where it is not possible to shutdown power that easily.

That is a very good question, Arjan.

The PM556x_ModbusRegisterList shows the needed registers (ref. to "Logical Phase" ...) similar to PM800 series, however the command sequence is different.

Perhaps , can help.

Sorry but I don't see any document with RESL210828. Maybe I'm not authorized to access this link.

Unfortunately, you can not change the current polarity through modbus commands in PM5560.

So there's no way to do that? I am surprised.

Then the register list for PM556x is inconsistent.

Why a conditional write is mentioned then on the "[DEAD LINK /message/12539#12539]PM556x_ModbusRegisterList_V1.0.02-Public version.xlsx"?

Thanks for pointing those out Victor.  I missed them on my pass through the register list.
