PM3255 Active energy into load

Hi all,

I have one problem using PM3255 on PME 7.2.1.

I don't have any informations about active energy into the load. I have standard log for Active out, Reactive in and out and Apparent in and out.

Also on Load report and tabular report I dont have data for Active energy. Still I have date for total active energy in and out before last reset.

Do I need to active it manually on meter? It is 300 km from my office, and I will be glad to solve it remotly.

Hi Mario,

The first thing you can cross verify is , In PME 7.2 Active Energy into load is not default checked in MDI. Kindly try to tick the energy Into Load and see if you see data logging if not then you have to see in the meter  setup---->Log----> Energy Into load is “Enabled “.

You cannot enable the onboard flex log or configure it remotely. Normally this is where that measurement comes from.  Instead, just tick it in the MDI.

Thanks for the answer.

I did it through MDI, Active power into the load was not automatically checked.

One more question, how can we enable Load interval logging for day, week and the month?

Just change the logging interval in the MDI for whatever period you want.  By default it should be logging every 15 minutes but this can easily be changed to whatever interval you wish.  The SW logging is controlled (in the driver) by a periodic timer with the same capability as the VIP (or the ION devices).
