Hi James,
All of the PM8000 Firmware files are now available on the global Schneider website.
Cheers,
Hi James,
I have a PM8000 that doesn't show all webpages, and I can't configure some values, drop down menu's are empty.
I allready did the firmware update (1.3.1) and als copied the html files from a working PM8000 to the faulty one(via FTP). Now the pages are all there but there are still some options not available...
I also noticed that the framework is missing some modules so I deleted the framework and tried to upload that from a working PM8000 but still have some issues.... And modules that are missing....
What can I do to restore the complete PM8000 to factory settings?
Kind Regards
Koen
Hi Koen,
The web pages and related content transferred to the meter over FTP will persist over a firmware upgrade. The template / framework is erased during an upgrade and has to be re-applied after.
If the web pages on your meter aren't working you can download the factory default files from the Schneider website (PowerLogic PM8000 series - Download Center - Schneider Electric) - these files all go into the 'web/resources' folder on the meter. (The other web folders - control / diagnostics / maintenance / monitoring / setup folders are for adding additional content. Anything put in these folders will show up under the respective tab in the web pages.)
Here are the steps to reset the web pages:
The latest default framework for the PM8000 is v1.2.14_FAC-PQ_V1.1.0.0.1.dcf - also available from the link above. Putting that framework on the meter should fix the module issues you are having.
Hello Cliff,
Thanks for the info, the problem is solved, We did a firmware upgrade and reloaded the default framework and everything is ok.
Kind regards
Koen
Hi,
What is the user name and password of PM8000 ftp login ?
Thanks
Hi Su
The FTP login information for a PM8000 with standard meter security (no users configured) is:
user: 8000
Password: meter password (default = 0)
For a meter with advanced security, enter a valid user and password.
This information is also in the PM8000 user guide, in the Communications > FTP > Accessing your meter's FTP server, on page 62 of the latest version of the user manual (7EN02-0336-01). The PM8000 manual can be downloaded from the Schneider website here: http://www.schneider-electric.com/en/download/document/7EN02-0336/
or by going to www.schneider-electric.com and searching for "PM8000 user manual".
cheers,
Alana
