ION8650 default Alt PT and Alt CT ratios

While creating a custom framework on a ION8650A for the first time I noted the new scaled operational values feature.

The default alt PT and CT Pri/Sec values are 600/120 and 1/1 respectively. It would nice if this was set to a 1:1 ratio.

In my case I had to create a custom framework for a utility company where all meters  are sealed and are programmed with a PT or CT ratio of 1:1.

In the new frameworks, if the ratio is 1:1 the Alt ratios will take effect. We should not assume that 600:120 is awlays the case. Unless the meter tech knows about this feature, they may think something is wrong with the meter. Hence why I believe setting this to 1:1 out of the box is a good idea.

Also having the ability to change the alt scaling values from the front panel would nice. Quickly scrolling through the 8650 setup menus I didn't see anything jump out at me. If its there could someone please point where this is?

Lastly ION Setup 3.0 setup assistant does not have a menu screen to program these facroty module settings either. You have to dive right in to the Advanced configuration mode and configure the factory module.

The scaled operational values feature was designed to only be configured/viewed/used through the Vista component of ION Enterprise/StruxureWare Power Monitoring Expert. It was created to allow operators to generate scaled values for their own power quality analysis from existing, non-configurable revenue-locked/sealed meters where the scaling ratio was set 1:1. This is why the scaled operational values feature configuration is specific to the Power Quality tab in Vista, and scaled operational value data is only intended to be accessed through ION Enterprise/StruxureWare Power Monitoring.

This feature was originally created on the ION8600 firmware v330, so you should see this on the later ION8600 as well as the ION8650.
