My customer electrical system installing IM400 & IFL12MC for Insulation Monitoring for application DC

I want know. Can i testing ( simulation) for testing fault current for IM400 & IFL12. Thanks

Hello @SESA528,

You can suggest testing this scenario by creating the fault close to the alarm threshold value of IFL12MC. For example, in IFL12MC, the nominal alarm threshold for 400VDC can be 40 kOhm, and the insulation fault test resistor value is 35 kOhm.

Any IEC Standard mention to this Insulation Monitoring?
