IEM3255 com.protection takes effect also for Reset Partial counter over Modbus?
Hallo,
Customer have 2 meters IEM3255 (different Firmware 1.03 and 1.08), he tries to reset the Partial counter over Modbus (function 2020)
This function is working with firmware 1.0.3 without poblem but with the meter firmware 1.0.8 not.
someone told me to check "com.protection", but it was enabled on both meters, and i does'nt found any information if this parameter taking effect for Reset or only lock change configurations.

I realize this is an older post but I'll answer for future reference. I checked with the development team, and it seems like Com. Protection was extended to cover function 2020 in firmware v1.0.600, so that would account for the difference you're seeing.
