Hi @cp8rker
As mentioned in HDPM6000 Installation guide, HDPM head units with system firmware v0.62 (62.7) and above support TLS v1.2 for HTTPS communication between the embedded web server and web browsers.
Therefore, in the head unit with firmware v0.62 and above, the HTTPS protocol needs to be specified in the URL bar with the IP address.
Head unit can be configured to use self-sign (the default is built-in self-signed certificate) or custom TLS certificate (which may be issued by an organization’s IT department or by a trusted CA) using either the web interface or HDPM6000 Manager software.
For more information regarding uploading a custom TLS certificate and private key to the head unit using HDPM6000 webpage or Manager software, please check section 'HTTPS and Custom TLS Certificates' in HDPM6000 Installation guide on pages 23 & 24.

is there a way to disable the HTTP interface, as we are using the Modbus and not the browser

Hi @cp8rker
As mentioned previously, Head units with system firmware version 0.62 and above will reject connections from web browsers attempting to use HTTP, since HTTP, along with Modbus, SNMP, and BACnet, are considered insecure protocols.
If you are asking about completely disabling the HTTP(S) interface, it's important to note that while the meter can be configured via the web interface or Modbus, only Modbus can be disabled to disallow changes to the core configuration. This feature helps mitigate the risks associated with Modbus being an insecure protocol.
