Electrical Disturbance recoder ION 7650

We have been using in the past the BITRONIC M871 for electrical disturbance recording for at least the three currents and three voltage plus some digital signals as tripping signals, breaker position...

The question is if the ION 7650 colud record in the COMTRADE format this signals for post-mortem analisys and if they can be for example as 2 or 3 second recording and can start recording with a digital signal with pre or post trigger.

Yes, the ION7650 can be configured to record waveforms in rapid succession in comtrade format that are trigged by it's digital inputs.

Unfortunately it was found that, in this configuration, the comtrade records are sometimes missing/corrupted. A firmware release to fix this issue is scheduled for later this year.
