SoMachine 4.3 add HVAC library

Hi,

I want create steering application to AHU on M241 and i found some library with can simplify that task.

The library i found here https://www.hvac-automation.com/de/hvac-downloads 

I try add them but always i have error.

The question is it is possible to add that library to SoMachine?
If the answer is yes what is a solution?

Or maybe exist some Schneider library with elements to HVAC installation.

I know is existing a SoMachine HVAC and PLC M172 but for me that program(SoMachine HVAC) is less user-friendly.

I tried to installed the HVAC library in SoMachine v4.3 and i got the following error message:

"the path of the compiled library"

Value cannot be null.

Parameter name: collection

I am not sure what is the problem in there if it is related to the version of Codesys but when i use EcoStruxure Machine Expert it allows me to install the library:

TM241 is a PLC which is focused on machine control. Regarding to this HVAC is not a target market for TM2xx for SE.

If you built HVAC machines take TM17x and ESME HVAC. There are AFBs for this purpose are integrated.

Like LeThomas described Somachine 4.3 is a realy old software version. In the background use Somachine also a realy old codesys 3 version. In your case it seems that you need machine expert. Which is the successor of Somachine 4.3.

But you must know that you need for Machine Expert a complet new license. The Licens of Somachine do not longer work. An update license is not available.

And at least you must try if these librarys work. It seems that you have to pay a license to use them. And we could not garantee that these third party librarys work with ESME and TM241. Because not everything which is possible in Codesys 3 is possible in ESME. As example an Alarm Table is only possible on TM262 but not on TM241 and TM251.

Give ESME HVAC a chance, there you get the librarys for free and the software also.

Thanks @Bastian_Schmitz to you opinion in that topic, I understand you point of view, probably at the end I do this application in ESME HVAC, but I must try to do this in Machine Expert to satisfy my curiosity 🙂
