I got a couple of ratiometric pressure sensors which are taking far more current than expected. This means DC 5V is dropping to about 3.6 V (TM172PDG28R)
Besides ditching the sensors and getting new ones´is it possible to use an external power source ?

Maximum current from 5Vout is 50mA.
Being ratiometric, I think you should use the 5V provided by M172.
Input impedance is higher than 20kohm, you should not have this kind of issues...
