Hello All,
I am trying to import my symbol library from Aveva system platform InTouch to Machine Scada Expert industrial graphics editor, but I cannot find any animation properties.
Is there any tips or tools to import symbols with their original properties as I see in Intouch.
Thanks.

Hello,
When importing symbol libraries from Aveva System Platform InTouch to Machine Scada Expert (formerly known as Vijeo Designer), it is important to note that the animation properties may not be directly transferrable. The two software platforms have different animation systems and properties.
To import symbols with their original properties, you may need to manually recreate the animations in Machine Scada Expert. Here are a few tips to help you with the process:
Analyze the Symbol Library: Before importing, carefully analyze the symbols in your Aveva System Platform InTouch library. Note down the animation properties used in each symbol, such as visibility, color changes, blinking, etc.
Understand Machine Scada Expert Animation System: Familiarize yourself with the animation capabilities and properties available in Machine Scada Expert. Understand how animations are created and applied to objects in the software.
Manual Recreation of Animations: After importing the symbols into Machine Scada Expert, you will likely need to manually recreate the animations using the available animation properties. This may involve setting up visibility conditions, configuring color changes, or defining blinking behavior, among other possibilities.
Utilize Scripting: Machine Scada Expert also supports scripting capabilities, which can be used to create more complex animations or custom behaviors. If your Aveva System Platform InTouch symbols rely heavily on scripting, you may need to adapt or rewrite the scripts to work in Machine Scada Expert.
Seek Support and Resources: If you encounter specific difficulties during the process, it is advisable to reach out to the technical support channels provided by Schneider Electric, the developer of Machine Scada Expert. They can offer guidance and assistance based on their expertise with the software.
Remember that while it may not be possible to directly import the exact animation properties from Aveva System Platform InTouch to Machine Scada Expert, with some effort and manual recreation, you can achieve similar functionality in your graphics editor.
Best of luck with your symbol library import and the transition to Machine Scada Expert!
