Maybe somebody has figured out how to solve this... So, I am used to working at the office with dual monitors. That means that while I am developing a project, I typically have the project on my laptop´s main screen, and I move the simulator to the attached secondary screen so that it is easier to work. Whenever I remember it, I move all the windows on the secondary screen to the main screen before detaching the HDMI cable, but this does not always happen.
If this is the case, when I start working at either a customer´s location or maybe at home, the simulator´s screen is missing because strangely enough, Windows somehow still thinks this screen is available. I have found a way to move the simulator´s control screen to the main screen because there are many people asking the same question on internet, however neither HMI window or I/O window show.
In the past (Windows 7 and 10) restarting the laptop worked (or at least sometimes worked). That does not seem to be the case with Windows 11. Obviously restarting the program does not work either.
Has anyone found a solution for this?

Ok, never mind, I had forgotten about this and just tried again. Deleting the simulation and starting a new one does the trick.
