Issue
In WorkPlace Commissioning Tool, the following error message appears when browsing a BACnet/IP network: "A critical error occurred in the communication server rtmonitor.exe. Please shutdown this application and the communication server then try again."

Cause
There could be a Niagara R2 station running on the computer configured for BACnet/IP. Since the Niagara station also uses UDP port 47808 by default, the Niagara service prevented WorkPlace Commissioning Tool from "binding" to the UDP port.
Resolution
There are two ways to resolve this issue:
- Disable the Niagara service when using the WorkPlace Commissioning Tool
- In Workplace Pro, stop the station that has the BACnet/IP service enabled, and configure it so that it does not auto-start.
