Hi,
We experienced issues due to third party contractor who had labelled supply/return piping incorrectly on some of the FCU's that caused issue for Supply temp sensor connected to T1 & Return temp sensor connected to T2 (instead of vice a versa) by SE contractor.
As its hard to access some of these FCU's (to swap these supply/return air temp sensors), need firmware that would allow to swap from software. The current SP90 are with Revision no 4.21.
I believe there was new firmware of SP90 to be launched (probably last year) which would have functionality to swap T1 and T2 inputs from software/frontend.
Is there firmware available that would allow to swap remotely?
On upgrading firmware:
1. Would it change any of parameters?
2. Would new firmware will introduce any additional points?
Above questions as currently we have points onboarded on BDP and any additional points introduced due to new firmware would affect BDP hence need to know before upgrading firmware.
Thanks for your kindest support in advance.

Hi Mohan (and Craig)
We do have a firmware update file which directly resolves T1 and T2 temperature probes being installed the opposite way around to the instructions.
Essentially, two key new objects are introduced which enable the temperature sensors to be swapped.
MSV:42 (T1 input) and MSV:43 (T2 input). For both you are able to select each as:
1: Disabled
2: Supply temperature
3: Return temperature
I am not able to upload the firmware files to this site so I will add them to our sharepoint
Please use file V439 for actuators using 4.21 firmware (products marked V1xxx on the product label),
file V539 is for the very latest actuators (products marked V2xx on the product label)
Simon

@MohanR among the files linked by @Simon_Firth is a Word document titled Upgrade_w_SBO that details how firmware can be upgraded using BACnet from EBO. The PDF titled Upgrading multiple units also has instructions on how multiple actuators can be upgraded using an EBO search.

Morning Craig,
I liaised with Simon via teams yesterday as SP-90s are configured over Modbus via RP-C controller and not via separate MSTP hence there is no way to access SP-90 Application. As advised, I have escalated with BMS tech support. Received call from tech support. Tech support will get back once they find way to upgrade under these circumstances.
Attached screenshots FYI.
Sincerely appreciate to Simon and Yourself for support.

@MohanR if you are using modbus then I'm afraid that support won't be able to assist, modbus doesn't support these file transfers and upgrades or at least the current EBO implementation doesn't.

Thanks Craig. Is there any other alternate way to upgrade else we will have to physically access and swap sensors on field.
