Could you please clarify if the VB-8303 style 3-way valve body have the common “AB” port come out the side port?

Hi,

On the VB-8303 the bottom port is always on the bottom, it is the common port.

Do you have this valve already? There are other valve types where the common port AB is on the side.

As you already have the valve and probably the actuator too, I'm not sure if this is of help now:

I've attached a link to the EMEA Valve and Actuator catalogue, it has globe valves with the common AB port on the side.

The VB-9313 series has the common port on the side. As previously commented, the VB-8303 must be piped per the diagram for it to function properly.
