BACnet mstp or Modbus RTU Temp/Humidity Sensor

We have been requested to monitor only approximately 30 hospital rooms for T/H and I would like to be able to daisy chain these back to the AS-P as an integration. I will also need to confirm the quantity we can support on one comm bus back to the AS-P.

Is there a Temp/Humidity Sensor that we can use with EBO that communicates via BACnet mstp or Modbus RTU? I have looked at the SE8000's and the SmartX sensors (Ethernet sensor Bus) but they are not ideal for the reasons below.

The SmartX Living Sensors could be an option but the quantity you can put on a daisy chain is up to 4 and limited to a 200' distance. Also I would need to include multiple MP or RP field controllers to support the sensor bus under the AS-P. That adds a good amount of cost.

The SE8000's could be an option but I really only need the T/H monitoring so if there's something without all the I/O that would be preferred.

Any insight on another device would be very much appriciated,

Thanks,

Nicole Gonzalez

I know this is late, but perhaps it will help someone else. These work well, and are easy to integrate:  CW2XP2A Veris CW2 Protocol Series Air Quality Sensor, CO2, Wall, Replaceable Humidity 2%, Temperature Transmitter, BACnet MSTP/Modbus. They are available through iportal.

@MikaelKrantz

I'm unfamiliar with these (or atleast I believe I am). A google search came up with no results. Can you share a link to these or a model # I can better identify these from?

Thank you,

Nicole

Think you should be able to find some info about them if you search for "SLPSTX2" on Exchange or maybe on the Internet.

Please note that I have not used them myself,
