Hi there,
I have a project which is curently at version 6.2.4 build 1065. I have downloaded VJD 6.2 and installed service pack SP4 but when opening the project it advises the project was created on a newer version and to update to the latest version.
So after downloading 6.2.4 SP11 & SP12 I can open the project but now software wants to update to the newer version.
Fine but I don't really want to update as this will require all other engineers with access to loose their ablity to modify software without updating their software also.
If this is the case then would it be better to update to Vijeo designer 6.3?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to open the file in the upper version with a lower version.

What was the build number of the 6.2 SP4 you got from downloading, was it 1065 but it still complained? Did you check if there was any "hot fixes" for 6.2 SP4 in software update that might change the build number?
