Hi,
Please help us in settingup ethernetIP communication between LMC058 motion controller and Fanuc robot. We configured fanuc robot as a ethernetIP target and imported its eds file in soMachine project. But in LMC058 project we cant able to access fanuc file, but we were able to access fanuc file in TM241 project. Did LMC058 cant act as ethernetIP scanner?
We saw one video on how to import eds file to soMachine(Thats a canOpen device eds file).
In our case after importing eds file we were able to setup communication with TM241 but not with LMC058 (Because ethernet adapter is not getting listed in the LMC058 soMachine project)

Hi,
We got this thing worked. LMC058 can't work as a ethernetIP scanner. It can only act as an adapter.
We configured scanner in fanuc robo and gave lmc058 details(IP address, output and input instance number etc.) .
It was working fine. So as a conclusion TM241 PLC can act as a ethernetIP scanner but LMC058 can't act as a scanner.
Thanks.
