SAITEL DP CPU866e -EB V1.7.30 - New SM_AI8AO4 - AO output not working in Voltage / Current configuration

Hello Juan Rayo,

Hope you are doign good !!...

CPU866e - EB V1.7.30 - AI8AO4 module AO configured as Voltage (0/5V) or Current (4/20mA) but we are not getting the output in field TB.

As per AI8AO4 user manual It was observed that there is some jumper setting for Voltage/Current configuration, but in newly supplied AI8AO4 modules (PN- M525200002E6, SN- 2441R1511239 )internal PCB there is no Jumper settings.

Pictures enclosed for your quick reference. AO Wiring, AO_TB we are using at your panel pic enclosed.

New AI8AO4 PCB picture also enclosed.

Can you suggest How to check the AO signals?

Regards,

Amarnadh P

Definitely the document is wrong in terms of jumpers needed. The module only works with current as default BUT if you want to work with voltage you must add resistances in the fieldTB and then select the correct working voltage level depending on the resistance´s value added. We start working to correct the document, thanks for the feedback

I am attaching the new document for this module, different physical aspect (for PowerLogic T500) but the same functionality. Apologize for the document issue
