Request 244LD with Remote Transmitter for (HP) High Pressure Steam drum application/Ambient Temp 100 DegC

Now we are proposed 244LD LevelStar model: 244LD-SS3R2RNNH1C4-ML124 for High Pressure Steam drum application to replace the existing Level Switch old design.

Process condition is very hot environment as below;

-Pressure  = 94.8 kscg

-Temperature  = 306 C

-Ambient temp is 100 DegC

Right now customer concern about ambient temp is 100DegC will be make our  244LD transmitter to failure in short time.

Now they are request 244LD with remote mounting and please support this request.

Thanks for the question/request!

ECEP request will have to go in to tco.level@se.com as the remote is not a standard offering anymore.

You may also consider IMV31 as an alternative or backup technology. 

We've used those successfully on several boiler level applications before.

Customer is preferred to go with Level Displacer Transmitter because they have another steam drum also used displacer type.

 

And I heard about IMV31 going to discontinue product in Dec 2020.
